We pride ourselves on our quality home care team and feel very lucky to work with such a fantastic group of people. They all have professional backgrounds, are capable, reliable and caring. We are pleased to say we pay our people properly too. Everyone is police checked and has exemplary references.
Emma has spent many years working part time for a well known airline. Her young family keeps her busy too, but she loves to find time to cook and entertain, get out for the odd run along the seafront, and spend time in her garden.
Briar is a support worker, and has also worked for many years as an office manager for a variety of organisations. She has a young family and enjoys walks and pottering in the garden. She loves cinema and is never happier than when she has a good book on the go!
Sue has lived in Hove for 20 years, she has two daughters, loves animals, and spends her spare time horse riding, gardening or walking her dog. Sue loves travelling and works part time for an airline. When time allows she loves catching up with her girlfriends.
Cath has lived in Lewes for over 30 years, bringing up her three boys and working as a school secretary. She has always loved animals and worked with horses in the past but now just has Morgan the dog. These days she is often on the road to Devon to visit her mum or Shrewbury to visit her Aunt, with Morgan of course!
Anne has spent her career in corporate communications but is now thoroughly enjoying a different way of life and is a freelance consultant based near Lewes. Originally from France, Anne juggles work around her three children and loves nothing better than getting everyone out on a good walk.
Amy is an artist and restorer. She has a studio in Brighton where she is based and where she lives with her two teenagers, but exhibits across the world. When at home she loves to cook, garden, visit exhibitions, and of course have a good old natter.
Aly has worked mainly as a singer and actress and still loves to perform the odd jazz concert. Her daughters are grown up now so she has a bit more time to indulge her passion for going to the theatre. She also loves to read a good book when time allows!
Rob is a bookseller and copywriter, having escaped from a previous life in finance! He has grown up daughters and enjoys the occasional game of golf or squash, and can sometimes be spotted wrestling with the brambles in his garden.
Ceon works part time for a well known airline, whilst juggling family life with her teenage boys and dog, flossy. She loves to read and walk, but says there is nothing better than a natter with the girls over a good curry.
Mathilda loves looking after people and animals in equal measure! Since returning from Copenhagen where she worked as an au pair she has loved working in the world of care. When not working she will be found looking after her horses, dogs and cats!
Jane’s background is in International Development. She is an active person physically and socially! She loves good food and baking and keeps fit with cycling and yoga. She’s at her happiest having a natter over a cuppa and cake with friends.
Alma has spent the bulk of her career in recruitment and is a qualified coach & mentor. She left the corporate world to look after her mum who had Alzheimers and despite the challenges found it a very rewarding experience. Alma loves nothing better than a natter with friends over a cuppa, up-cyling old furniture and yes, donkey trekking!
Louise lives in Goring by Sea with her young family. A jewellery designer by trade, she is also a dab hand at painting and photography. After a spell living in Ibiza the family have come back to Sussex bringing with them a love of Spanish culture, and a puppy! When Louise has down time she loves to cook!
Frankie is a mobile hairdresser and beautician. She has also been a foster carer for the last 10 years, specialising in mother & baby units and children with traumatic and special circumstances. Her grown up children still keep her busy too, and she loves cooking for everyone and big family holidays.
Sarah teaches cooking and baking and also supplies cakes to several local tea rooms. With five grown up children cooking is a way of life for Sarah but when she’s not in the kitchen she loves gardening, keeping fit, and all types of crafting.
Amanda has worked as many interesting things including being a primary school inclusion mentor. She has a daughter who’s soon off to university. She enjoys walking her cockapoo along the seafront and when time allows she loves nothing better than to cook for friends.
Helen, a mum of two, has worked for many years with children in nurseries and also as a childminder. Helen loves being active, whether at the gym, cycling around town or walking her dog.
David a freelance journalist whose passions are photography and collecting books, comes into his own as Santa every Christmas at his son’s school fayre.
Hannah is a qualified Foot Health Practitioner with a gentle touch. She has two young children but when time does allow she loves to get to the beach, potter in the garden, or pop to a cafe for coffee and cake.
In addition to her work teaching singing to a range of groups young and old, Cara is a reflexologist and massage therapist. She spends her spare time drawing, reading, and is currently learning Italian. Oh and she loves a crossword.
Mandy is a hairdresser with 20 years experience. She lives in Hove with her family and a scruffy dog called Buster! To relax she loves to knit and walk her dog on the beach.
Claire loves the Sussex countryside, gardening and all things outdoors. She works part-time with young adults with learning difficulties. On holiday she can generally be found exploring France with her family in their camper van.
Ali is a qualified carpenter and makes furniture from reclaimed wood. Prior to that she worked as a project manager and trainer for 18 years and in her spare time runs Free University Brighton, a local initiative which provides free education across the city. She’s also a keen cook and gardener!
Rachael is a mum of twin teenage girls who has spent a majority of her life working in the community in a range of roles with both adults and young people. She enjoys walking her dog, (a Jackauauha called Pumpkin!) gardening, baking and having fun.
A dental nurse by profession, Mia has been working as a volunteer for her local church for the past few years. She is mum to two young daughters and when time allows she loves to keep fit by running and boxing, and relax by playing the piano.
Kathryn spent most of her professional life as a PA both in the UK and abroad. These days she is mostly kept busy looking after her grandchildren and their dogs, all of whom she adores. When time allows Kathryn loves a round of golf. She’s also a self confessed Liverpool FC supporter!
A mum of two teenagers, Jemma has worked in a variety of settings supporting older people. She’s also a dab hand at gardening, is a qualified therapist and has worked as a primary school teaching assistant. Her love of animals has led her to volunteer for several animal charities over the years too.
David, born and bred in Brighton, runs a window cleaning company with Gary. In his spare time he’s seriously into fitness and in particular he loves a weight-lifting challenge.
Andrea worked for many years as a nanny before starting her own family. She now writes children’s books and TV shows. Her preferred mode of transport is her bike and she can often be found cycling along the seafront.
Gemma works part-time as an occupational therapist, foot health practitioner and massage therapist. She loves working with people, walking in nature, painting and being creative as well as cooking and laughing.
Louise ran her own PA business before beginning a new career in the health service. She loves to walk her dog, photography and spending time with her grandson. She relaxes at home creating different things, tinkering on the piano or meeting up with friends over a cup of coffee.
Leslie is a yoga teacher and artist and loves to share both these passions with others. After years of extensive travels and life overseas she is happy to be back here enjoying long walks along the coast and south downs.
Guy studied furniture design at college and then taught design & technology for 20 years. Having honed his skills developing properties in Sussex Guy has now set up a property maintenance company with her business partner, Pete. When time allows he enjoys a game of cricket and a walk with his dog on the Downs.
Christina has enjoyed a colourful career as a professional hair and make up artist for 30 years. With her four children now ‘flown the nest’ she is able to indulge her passions for yoga, visiting friends, walks by the sea and travelling.
Brighton born and bred, Lee commuted to London for years as a marketing manager before putting his love of nature and wildlife to good use and retraining as a gardener 10 years ago. He also loves travelling although when not working, his baby daughter keeps him very busy these days
Fran is arty, practical and green fingered, enjoys a variety of craft hobbies and likes to make and mend. She loves country walks with a dog and volunteers at the Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare and at Wakehurst Place.
Jilly is a mum of two and a property developer with a background in finance. She has a passion for food and loves nothing more than cooking and entertaining friends. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor fitness, the cinema and travelling.
Esme is a qualified Foot Health Practitioner. She also offers manicures, pedicures and Thai Foot Massage. She is a trained Personal Image Consultant and loves helping people look and feel good. She sings in a choir, loves cinema and open air swimming!
Jean has lived in Hove for over 25 years. She was publican at the Sussex Cricketers for many years which improved her knowledge of cricket dramatically! These days she juggles life with her young family alongside charity fundraising. She loves the cinema, walking and drinking coffee with friends.
Chloe has a background in fashion buying, but these days is busy looking after her all-boy family in Hove. She loves scuba diving, music, dancing, and cooking, but is just as happy taking a quiet walk along the seafront.
Bella has spent much of her working life writing and editing, but is also a passionate artist and has run art classes for children for many years. When enjoying some down time she loves to read, listen to music, and get to the odd yoga class.
Heather is a textile designer by profession and now runs her own textile workshop, in addition to selling vintage clothes. She loves travelling, especially to Asia, eating out, has very green fingers and practices yoga daily.
Peter spent many years in IT & engineering. He then changed tack and began developing properties locally before going on to set up a property maintenance company with his business partner, Guy. He lives in Brighton with his wife and daughter and is a keen photographer when time allows.
Julia is a qualified Foot Health Practitioner and swimming teacher. Her young family keeps her busy but when time allows she loves to socialise with friends, go to the cinema, swim (of course!), cycle and walk.
Amy is a support worker and is currently studying to be a counsellor. She loves to socialise and also enjoys reading, yoga, cooking and spending time in nature. She lives in Hove with her two young children and partner.
Clare is a qualified teacher of Art and Design, and lives with her family in Hove. She enjoys visiting art galleries, cooking, walking her dog, watching old movies and taking photos. Originally from North Yorkshire she also likes a good cup of tea!
Cathy, a “champion of domestic life” enjoys baking, sewing and reading, and is passionate about architecture and design. At weekends she relaxes at her beach hut in Hove.
Amanda has lived in Poynings for over 25 years. She has been a professional animal and house sitter (specialising in goats!) all over Sussex and Kent. In her spare time she loves circle dancing, playing the ukulele, birdwatching, scrabble, jigsaws, and catching up with friends.
Diana is a recently retired nurse who has lived and worked both here and abroad. Now settled back in Brighton with her large adult family, she likes to walk her dogs and has interests in gardening, cooking & nutrition, permaculture, art, bee keeping, Reiki, Buddhism and animal welfare.
Peter runs a virtual tour and web design company. He loves music, art, cooking, fishing and travelling. Originally from Hungary he is now very settled in Hove with his wife and two young boys.
Janet is an Alexander Technique teacher and loves helping people manage their posture and wellbeing. She also volunteers at The Martlets ‘Sow & Grow’ group. She has two teenagers and when time allows loves to meet friends over coffee, read and spend time in her garden.
Jane’s background is in creative arts therapy and she has many years experience working in that capacity with vulnerable young people. She lives in Brighton and has two teenagers to keep her busy! She loves to cook, read, walk her dog and spend time with friends.
Dawn has lived in Hove for many years and has a long career in health and wellbeing, primarily as a health chef. She loves dogs and the great outdoors, as well as singing in her gospel choir and attending salsa and brazilian dance classes.
‘Variety is the Spice of Life’ is Stephanie’s catch phrase, having worked and volunteered in all sorts of capacities including community work, special education, interior design, and running a cafe.
Vibha is mum to two girls who are taller than her! She loves the outdoors and equally a puzzle or a game. She works as a support to mums giving birth and loves reflexology and massage.
Steve runs a building, plumbing and decorating company. He loves to run and cycle and is happiest outdoors. He can often be found running the bar at his sons’ school PTA events.
Sally has enjoyed travelling far and wide but these days prefers to explore closer to home. She loves anything crafty, in particular lino-cut printing projects and enjoys teaching craft activities to absolute beginners!
Helen is a local textile artist and also enjoys sewing and painting, along with walking her dog with her children down by the beach. Her guilty pleasure – a good long chat over a cup of frothy coffee.

Dominique has lived in Sussex for over 20 years but spent her childhood growing up in France and the USA. She studied photography at university and then ventured into the music industry, writing and singing in a country music band. She now lives in Worthing with her four young children but when time allows still keeps her hand in the world of music.
Jo loves variety and to prove it has worked in education, marketing and retail. A busy mum of three, Jo loves to balance things out with a spot of yoga, singing, gardening and walking. Her life motto is “If you want a job doing ask a busy woman!”.
Mandy is a singing & piano teacher, and home-tutor. She also loves singing jazz, travelling (especially to Turkey), walking by the sea and meeting up with friends.
Helaina has a creative background and was a fashion make-up artist for many years but has now turned her hand to hair and make-up for weddings. She also works on textile art pieces and project manages interiors. She loves nothing better than a walk in the countryside with her family.
Norma is a part-time tutor. She has three grown up children and enjoys theatre, cinema, live comedy, gardening and pilates. She also loves being part of her book group which has been going for over 16 years!
Gary runs a window cleaning business in Brighton with David, and when he isn’t working or looking after his three children he loves to relax by doing a spot of photography.
