Are you taking medication?

If you are taking medication did you know that community pharmacies offer a free annual Medicine Usage Review for all patients who are prescribed at least three medicines and have attended the pharmacy for three months. The purpose of the review is to discuss the medicine, possible side effects, medicine interactions and healthy lifestyle advice. Pharmacists can’t change or discontinue any of the medicines but can contact the GP with the patient’s permission to discuss any issues. Some pharmacies may be willing to offer a home visit.
