Being physically active is a really important aspect of health and wellbeing for all of us and did you know Untitledas little as ten minutes a few times a day can make a big difference?

Also it is widely reported that being active has a feel-good factor and helps you meet others and get out of the house. The Sport and Physical Team at Brighton and Hove City Council offer a wide range of low cost sessions to help you become and stay active including a wide range of adult exercise sessions; all of which are free or low cost. Social PING, for example, takes place on Wednesdays at 10.30 – 12.00 at King Alfred Leisure Centre. Members are mostly aged over 65 and all really enjoy an informal game of table tennis with beginners welcomed. For those who enjoy a seated activity the team organise the City Boccia league. This seated bowls is an accessible popular sport and can get very competitive! They are currently looking for teams to join the league so do get in touch.
