A unique aspect of the Age UK Brighton and Hove counselling service is that clients can be seen in their own home. Alternatively clients may choose to have counselling at an alternative venue. Clients can benefit from up to 18 weeks of therapy and are offered a humanistic, holistic style of counselling which can be invaluable for people who often have a combination of issues that need to be addressed. The sessions can look at a variety of concerns and worries that frequently occur in later life, such as loss of status, financial security, family or friend relationships, physical or mental health and others.
