September is World Alzheimer’s month, time to get talking about Dementia. The Alzheimer’s Society sees it as a great opportunity to talk and help break down the stigma. We know many people have felt more isolated during the past six months and it can be really useful to have someone to talk to if you have any concerns. Many of the usual services and activities that are on offer aren’t running now, or have been dramatically reduced and we know that’s resulting in lots of people living with dementia and their carers feeling stranded. The national Dementia Connect support line can be contacted by phoning 0333 1503456. If you would like help in Sussex do give us a ring at Home & Company and if we can’t help you directly we’ll be able to signpost you on.
