Emma has spent many years working part time for a well known airline. Her young family keeps her busy too, but she loves to find time to cook and entertain, get out for the odd run along the seafront, and spend time in her garden.

Briar is a support worker, and has also worked for many years as an office manager for a variety of organisations. She has a young family and enjoys walks and pottering in the garden. She loves cinema and is never happier than when she has a good book on the go!

Aly has worked mainly as a singer and actress and still loves to perform the odd jazz concert. Her daughters are grown up now so she has a bit more time to indulge her passion for going to the theatre. She also loves to read a good book when time allows!

Beccy moved from Hove to Lancing a few years ago to gain a garden and is now an enthusiastic vegetable grower. She has also embarked on cold water swimming and swims in all seasons. She spent many years working for a well known airline, but enjoys working on terra firma these days!

Anita moved from London to Brighton in the early 2000’s to be near the sea and nature. She is a nurse by background, and also a homeopath with a great interest in holistic health. She loves walking and sea-swimming, cooking, reading and has a keen interest in astrology and astronomy to boot.

Izzie has been supporting adults in the community for twenty years in and around Sussex. She has also worked as an animal welfare officer and absolutely loves animals. She is a dab hand at gardening too and these days splits her times between gardening and supporting people in their homes.

Jessica lives in Brighton with her young family and dog. She loves all things arty, and after art school worked in window dressing. She now makes fabulous feather artworks and jewellery, and has been part of the Open House trail for many years.

Siobhan has worked as a nanny for many years. She lives with her family and cocker spaniel, Lena. She loves the great outdoors and has competed in several running races. She also enjoys gardening, long walks and holidaying in their caravan.

Amanda runs a well-being company using nature and laughter, and also does chocolate making. She and her Jack Russell, Belle, come as a pair. Belle is a ‘Canine Concern’ doggie and loves giving companionship to those missing a dog in their lives.

Caroline has always loved worked with people whether that be as cabin crew, working in cafes or flower arranging for businesses. She’s at her happiest out walking the dog, but also enjoys a good game of tennis and chatting about books with her book club.

She loves travel and since childhood has travelled far and wide. She enjoys baking, browsing antique shops and a good game of cards.

Verley moved from rural Buckinghamshire to Brighton in her twenties and stayed! She has worked in HR across a range of industries, but these days supports people in their homes. In addition to walking her own dog, Tulula, she dog walks for other local families, which provides her daily fix of nature.

Sue worked as an Art Director before moving with her family to Brighton. More recently she’s put her arty skills to use designing and baking wedding and celebration cakes. She loves comedy, art (of course!) and dance, as well as heading down to the beach with her paddle board and Floss the dog.

Lynne started her professional life in London working for an investment bank, but came down to Sussex to raise her family and has since worked as a teaching assistant and a carer. She is also a qualified florist and loves all things floral! In her spare time she enjoys a bargain hunt in the charity shops.

A mum of two teenagers, Jemma has worked in a variety of settings supporting older people. She’s also a dab hand at gardening, is a qualified therapist and has worked as a primary school teaching assistant. Her love of animals has led her to volunteer for several animal charities over the years too.

Grainne lives in Lewes and loves the cultural vibe there! She has primarily worked in administration and events. She also teaches creative dance. She is a crafty sort and always makes her own greetings cards. In her spare time she sings in a choir and loves meeting up with friends for coffee.

Cindy previously worked in finance for many years before making the change and retraining as a gardener. She loves growing vegetables and is very proud of her wildflower meadow which she has been cultivating for the past seven years!

Sara has worked in the events industry for many years, although started her working life in the travel world. She also volunteers for a national cancer charity, and is a wedding celebrant to boot! To relax she loves to sing as part of a gospel choir.

Giorge was an administrator in the NHS for many years and is great at all things admin. She enjoys hunting in charity shops, sunny country walks, gentle yoga and bobbing in the sea, all of which counter her love of all you can eat buffets! She’s also learning Spanish. Giorge adores cats too.

Lucie is a professional chef but likes to get out of the kitchen sometimes too! She loves being outside and adventuring, and is a keen sea swimmer. In her spare time Lucie hangs out with her niece and nephews, and enjoys going to see comedy with friends.

Originally from the North East of England, Nicola came to Brighton in 1997 and never left. Nicola has worked for much of her life in travel, as cabin crew and more recently as a travel consultant. She loves to bake, watch a good film and catch up with friends over a cuppa.

Cara is a singer teacher, reflexologist and massage therapist. She loves singing in all capacities, whether with baby groups or older choirs. She also sings as part of a cabaret trio. Cara also loves all things arty!

Miranda has been a home help for many years supporting people in her local community, alongside her passion for looking after and riding horses. She also has an older dog and a mad puppy! She loves the outdoors and can often be found running and hiking on the Downs.

Leslie is a yoga teacher and artist and loves to share both these passions with others. After years of extensive travels and life overseas she is happy to be back here enjoying long walks along the coast and south downs.

Rebecca loves travelling which led to her importing and selling Indian furniture for many years. She also has a passion for antiques and runs a stall in a Lewes antiques shop. She has a busy life with three teenagers but when time allows loves doing anything crafty. And of course walking the family dog.

Having honed his skills developing properties in Sussex Guy has now set up a property maintenance company with his business partner, Pete. When time allows he enjoys a game of cricket and a walk with his dog on the Downs.

She has always enjoyed looking after people and has had a varied career in retail, hotels and banks. She loves to cycle and swim on her days off!

Tracy has been in Brighton for 20 years and still loves being by the sea. Aside from her fancy dress business she has worked in care for many several years. She loves going walking, to anything theatrical and the odd music festival.

Trea is originally from the Netherlands where she started her career in hair and beauty but has lived in the UK for over 25 years. She lives in Hove with her young family and loves to travel, garden, and go for long country walks. She also volunteers for a local charity.

In her spare time she loves to take photos, go on long walks, and visit museums and art galleries. She also loves to potter on her allotment!

Wendy worked for a high-street bank for 32 years, and has since discovered that there if life beyond banking! She loves reading and jigsaws, and can often be found rambling on the Downs when not looking after her four grandchildren.

Frances worked for many years in the fashion industry before setting up her own company publishing sewing patterns and a magazine for makers. She loves anything visual from exhibitions to film. When time allows she enjoys swimming, sings in a choir and is currently learning Italian.
