If you dread visiting the dentist you might well be interested in having mobile dentistry in the comfort of your own home. We know that dentistry services have struggled to get back to where they were pre Covid in terms of waiting times for a whole host of reasons, and dental hygiene appointments seem to be particularly hard to come by. So we’re delighted to let you know about our new mobile dental hygiene service.
Jo Crossman is an experienced Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist who could see there was a clear need to offer a mobile service to those who find it tricky to get to a practice appointment. Somehow it’s easy to let what should be an annual, or twice a year check up on our teeth, lapse – that is until we have a problem and need urgent attention!

Good oral hygiene
Prevention is so much better than a cure, especially where teeth are concerned. Good oral hygiene is important for us all, but it’s particularly important in later life to make sure that gums are healthy and our teeth can be retained for as long as possible. Jo is able to clean your teeth using manual or powered instruments as needed; place temporary fillings; smooth chipped or rough teeth; carry out oral health screening to check for other conditions eg oral cancer and refer to appropriate health specialists; apply topical fluoride; replace crowns with temporary cement. Jo is registered with the General Dental Council and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is fully insured. The cost of a mobile dental hygienist appointment is £90 + VAT (£108).
